City of Ventnor

The City of Ventnor was able to receive necessary energy related improvements to their facilities through the state’s Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP). Entities pay for the costs using the value of energy savings resulting from the improvements with minimal expenditure of new financial resources.  DCO was the ESCO that helped design the ESIP project, secure financing, and acted as construction manager through project implementation.  Rooftop units were installed at City Hall as a priority item.  New Level 2 EV charging stations were installed at City Hall and at the Public Works building as a green initiative. DCO Energy worked with Atlantic City Electric to have new LED streetlights installed city-wide as well as implementing a new tariff at a lower rate.
