Newark Public Schools, Phases 1, 1A and 3

Newark Public Schools (NPS) is the largest school district in New Jersey. In 2014, the District spent more than $77 million on operations and maintenance for its 66 schools. The District selected JDC Energy Services, A Veregy Company, as its trusted advisor to improve their facilities and address major infrastructure needs within the District’s schools.

Newark’s existing facilities had equipment past their useful life. With specific goals in mind, NPS looked to JDC as their partner to make significant repairs to their facilities without any pocket costs.

The success at Newark has allowed JDC to implement a 3rd Phase at their High Schools to bring their HVAC and Energy Management System into the 21st Century.
