Paterson Public Schools – Phase 2

After a successful ESIP Project in Phase 1, our team was selected to partner with the Paterson Public Schools in Phase 2. Being selected for Phase 2 was the highest of honors for our team because there “was no team that was more prepared” to help PPS meet their goals.

Our team worked with the District’s professionals and county officials to help PPS obtain financing with a county guarantee. Without the county guarantee, PPS would have had a difficult time obtaining financing to achieve the upgrades they needed.

The focus of Phase 2 was on the larger facilities (HS and MS) and had the primary goals of addition of cooling to common areas and implementation of a full building automation system. After those two upgrades were included, the District focused on boiler and rooftop unit replacements. At the end of Phase 2, PPS will have achieved more than $33.5M worth of improvements and will realize more than $1.2M worth of additional savings to re-allocate throughout their budget.
