Caldwell-West Caldwell School District

The Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP) was a part of the District’s Five-Year Sustainability Plan to reduce its overall energy use.  Installation of new LED lighting was done throughout the District to provide immediate energy use savings.  Solar rooftop panels were also added at each of the buildings.  High efficiency condensing Aerco Benchmark boilers with new premium efficiency pump motors with variable frequency drives were installed over at Grover Cleveland Middle School to replace the existing older hot water, gas-fired boilers with constant volume pumps.  Energy Management System upgrades were done by providing some new controls to some of the existing HVAC equipment and overall controls integration.  The project size was streamlined to better satisfy the needs of the District.
