Gloucester City Public Schools

The Gloucester City School District selected DCO Energy as its partner in its Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP) project to assist them in leading the series of transformative energy conservation measures aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability across its buildings. One of the most impactful initiatives has been the upgrade to LED lighting throughout the district, which, along with advanced lighting controls, will not only improve lighting quality but also significantly reduce energy consumption and operational costs. Additionally, the district invested in upgrading its Energy Management System (EMS), enabling more efficient monitoring and control of energy use, which further enhances its ability to optimize performance across buildings. Chiller replacements and rooftop unit upgrades have also played a crucial role in improving HVAC efficiency, reducing energy waste, and ensuring a more comfortable learning environment for students and staff.
