Project
The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) and DCO Energy, LLC (DCO) partnered with St John’s Episcopal Hospital (SJEH) to implement an EPC project. The goal of the project was to deliver much needed upgrades to the Hospital’s infrastructure, improving comfort, and increasing efficiency.
SJEH is the only hospital providing emergency and ambulatory care to the densely populated, culturally and economically diverse, and medically underserved populations of the Rockaways and Five Towns in southern Queens County and southwestern Nassau County, New York. Celebrating over 110 years of community care, the facility provides people of all faiths with comprehensive preventive, diagnostic treatment and rehabilitative services, regardless of ability to pay.
SJEH is accredited by The Joint Commission’s Health Facilities Accreditation Program and is approved by the New York State Department of Health. SJEH is a recipient of the Gold-Plus Get with the Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Achievement Award and the Gold-Plus Get with the Guidelines®-Heart Failure Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association
